Brief history:

The Arranger series was started by Zodiac in 1993 as a new solo-project after quitting the MSX demogroup BCF. The first single-sided musicdisk was released at the MSX-fair in Doetinchem organised by MAD. Although it was a solo-project, some other musicians contributed to the music content, but coding, graphics and most of the music were done by one person. The musicians that contributed to one or more Arranger music disks were: Bart Roijmans (Compjoetania), Coen van der Geest (Moonsoft), Falco Dam (MSX Engine), Pascal Oldenzeel (Flying Bytes), Anne de Raad (Flying Bytes), Dave Groenen (Compjoetania) and Andries Minnaert who created the ending theme for "MoonSounds".

After the first Arranger music disk some other people contributed as well, by either coding some assembly routines or creating additional graphics. Of course these people deserve to be mentioned too, so here goes: Remco Schrijvers (Moonsoft), Ivo Wubbels (MSX-Engine), Remo Jongeneelen (Compjoetania) and Mike Dammer. Last but not least we'd like to put Manuel Bilderbeek up here for motivating us to release Arranger IV.

The current Arranger Team:

Zodiac
Real name: Ruud van de Moosdijk
MSX-group(s): BCF, MSX-Engine
Worked on: BCF Diskstation 2-5, DragonDisk 6-11, DASS, Pixess, Noisedisk, Revolution, Moonblaster, Moonblaster Musicdisk, MoonSounds, Arranger 1-4

Ruud is the founding member of the Arranger Team and normally the one that 'designs' new projects for the team. Although Ruud is involved in every Arranger Team product he's not the most productive musician, but he also creates the CD inlays and such.

Favorite MSX gamemusic: Snatcher/SD-Snatcher, Xak I, Ys Series, Konami PSG tunes
Favorite non-MSX gamemusic: Suikoden series, Final Fantasy series, MGS2, Wild Arms

Low Profile
Real name: Bart Roijmans
MSX-group(s): Compjoetania
Worked on: Eggervalley (unreleased), Deathrack, Noisedisk, Judgement of Sound, Pixess, The Last Dimension, Cybersound, Unknown Reality, Jungle Symphonies, Arranger 1-4

Bart has been involved in all the Arranger products and has been the most productive musician for the Audio-CD projects. Being a professional gamemusic composer nowadays makes his arrangements top of the crop.

Favorite non-MSX gamemusic: Axelay, Starcraft, Castlevania IV

Master of Audio
Real name: Jan-Lieuwe Koopmans
MSX-group(s): Emphasys
Worked on: Golden Power Disk 1-11, Synthe Sector 1+2, Ducktales, 3 Square

Jan-Lieuwe never worked on any Arranger musicdisk for MSX, since he had his own line-up of music disks with Synthe Sector. He jumped on the bandwagon with Arranger Gold though and he's been experimenting a lot lately for the Piano Collection.

Favorite MSX gamemusic: SD-Snatcher, Hydlide 1-3, Dragonslayer VI, Ys-Series
Favorite non-MSX gamemusic: Chronotrigger, Shenmue, Secret of Mana

Jorrith is the latest member of the Arranger Team after he begged us to put some of his stuff on our new CD. With a contribution of four songs he makes a decent debut, and beware! More things will follow!
