Note

MSX View is the successor to HALNOTE. It can run the HALNOTE applications. It is built in Panasonic FS-A1GT.
The 192 kb rom cartridge contains 12x12 and 12x8 pixels fonts and is to be handled as an ASCII 8 kb mapper rom. The software runs without the cartridge, but the characters are displayed neater and faster if there is one.
The screensaver can be configured. MSX Free Software 100 includes SPACEWAR.PMA and SS13.LZH screensavers as well as other MSX View utilities. 17 of MSX FAN disks include MSX View applications like PageBOOK, accessory and game.
Tagoo states the release year to be 1991 though the release date on MSX FAN 1991-03 page 115 is Dec 28 1990. This discrepancy is caused by multiple ver 1.00 release dates.
