R A N D A R I I I ====================== General information When pushed fire or space in this game, a menu will appear. This menu can be translated as followed: 1 USE MAGIC SPELL 2 ITEM 3 LOOK 4 SET UP When you for example want to use a magical spell, then choose for the first option. Then you must choose which member the spell will use, and then choose the spell. Most spells are ment for use during battle. With the others you can for example heal or restore your life. After getting the second option(ITEM), a sub-menu will appear with 5 options. This menu can be translated as followed: 1 USE ITEM 2 ??? 3 USE WEAPON 4 GIVE ITEM 5 THROW ITEM The first option is obvious, first choose a member then a item. The items marked with a star are weapons the member carries. The third option is for use of weapons. After choosing a member in screen will be shown how much POW/DEF/SPI/AGI this member has. When selecting another weapon the numbers change. POW means for example POWER. The weapons are sorted in category. Not all weapons are suitable for each member. Never throw something if cann't be used, beter sell it. With the fourth choice you can pass item to a other member. First select the member, then the item, then the member to which you like to give the item/weapon. Be carefull, each member can carry ten items at max. The last option, THROW ITEM, is for throwing away the item. First choose member, then item. The 3e option in the mainmenu is LOOK. This also has a sub-menu. 1 LOOK AROUND 2 LOOK STATUS 3 LOOK EQUIPMENT The first possibility is for example to open boxes or revealing a secret passage. With the second choice you can look at the status of a member. With the third option you can look at objects in your inventory. The last choice in the main menu is SET UP. In which you can choose which walks in front, which follows him, etc, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The villages exist from a picture and a menu. The first option is only usefull, the other are : USE MAGIC SPELL/ITEM/LOOK. With the first option comes a sub-menu. The size of this menu can be different for a village. The first option is always save/rest, choosing this option, a question will be asked : would you like to rest. Do so and everthing will be replenished (hit.point+ magic.point). The next question is to save. The last option is always leave village. The between those are shops, someone to talk with or a doctor. When entering a shop, two options appear, the first is to buy an item, the second is to sell an item. When attacking a monster a menu with six options appears. First you have to choose what each members goes to do. Are you, like in the start of the game, alone then the fun starts as soon as you picked your enemy. Are you not alone, you have decide first or member number one attacks while for instance member two cast a magic spell. The first option is attack The second and sixth option ??? The third option is use item. The fourth option is use magic spell. The fifth option is escape, but is not working always. The solution At start you are in a cave, build first your level untill at least level 2. Then go find the rober, somewhere in this cave. Attack him after you have restored your hit.points. (Item no. 4 or no.5) After killing him you can leave the cave, you now go to the village. When leaving the village you automatically go to the castle where a knight joins you. Leave the castle and go one screen up, here is a village, enter it and try from the first option all possibi- lities. You are now taken to a hidden house where somebody is attacked by an eagle, you are given a jewel, and are being tele- ported to the castle. Give the jewel to the King. Let your level grow and search until you have visited all six villages surrounding the castle, try in each village all possibilities of the first option. At one village you shall have to rescue a girl from some men. In addition to that a girl (the same?) joins your groep. Then visit all villages again, and by one village you will get in a fight, first with 3 men, later with the eagle, when beaten, you will get the second jewel, deliver him by the King. And start the tour pas- sing the villages again. In a place you will find the third jewel in a store, get it to the King. And start visiting churches. There are 3 churches in the area. Keep visiting these three till you get an item. You now can buy weapons in the church. Somewhere in this area there is a landing place. When you walk over it you end in a screen with water. When you have the item from the church go on the landing place till the end and the second boss monster will appear. Fight her, but watch out, she uses magic. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere in this area is a sort of maze of trees. In the middle of this maze lays a little lake. When you have beaten the second boss- monster go there and walk towards it. Go then the nearest village and try everything under the first option. Next go to the little beach, and beat your enemies, at a moment you will get a necklace. Beat especially the enemies ON the beach. When you have the neck- lace return to the village. And try to give the necklace to an old woman. Then go the landing place whit a boat. Use the boat to go to the shining thing in the lake. Use yourself to dive to the fourth jewel. Get this fourth jewel to the King. Then go to the cave which could not be entered till then. Enter it and walk to the end. Insert disk 3, and start in a cave with death knights, at the end of this cave you will find a treasure chest guarded by a monster, here you get your last jewel. Walk out of the cave, which will cave in and the monster attacks. After beating him go back to the King to give him the last jewel. You will get an item, It can be used to teleport you from village to village, the item can not be sold or run out of power. It now possible to go through the gate with two guards. After it lays a large area. Find first all village and try always all the choices under the first option. In the village where everbody is from stone there is one person alive, after talking with him he disappears. Watch for the skeletons, they can stun you. The purple sea-anemons after even more dangerous, they make you palsy (in other words = freeze you) To cure yourself go see a doctor. After finding all five villages select the teleport item get to the list with villages, choose next and choose the 3 option on the second page. Near this village is a house near a tree-maze, talk in this house with an old woman. Next go the fourth location on the second page of your teleport-item, leave this village and go to the right. Find a cave within it the fourth bossmonster, after finishing him off, you get your first stone(a yellow one). Go back to the village near the cave. Choose the first option of the menu followed by the next first option, meet two knights and choose "no"(the second option). Teleport to the third location on the second page, try all the options under the first option and fight with three enemies. After defeating them, talk in the castle with the King, leave the castle and enter it. You now get the third player. Teleport now to the village of stone, second page, second location. Leave this village. In the neigboorhood of this village (left side) is a graveyard. All graves are a like except one. This is a cross. Examine two times (third option from main menu) and a secret passage will appear. The passage leads to a cave filled with boxes. Open them and a hole will appear. In the hole you meet the fifth End-boss which will turn one of your players into stone, escape with in your possesion a mirror. You now al the five items. Let your player of stone heal somewhere and return to the house in the maze. Then go to the tower in the maze. Find a green statue and touch it, choose yes, and a gate, which holds a girl, is open. Talk to the girl and go back to the house. The go back to the cave in the graveyard a defeat the end-boss, now you have the second stone and everything in the village of stone is back to normal. Teleport now the first location of the first page (disk 2), after speaking the King leave the castle go one screen to the left and two screens under. This was your starting point. This place is now a mess. Follow the person who is responsible for this, he will go the cave where you started, search the cave and defeat the sixth end-boss. He will give the third stone. After a talk in the castle (again) teleport to the fourth location of the second page. Try all the possibilities of the first option and get the fourth player. (by the nursery) First build up some level by this player then go to a village with a landing place aside it.(go across a bridge) Try all possibilities of the first option. When you leave the village there is ship near the landing place get onboard and get to middle of the screen. The seventh end-boss appaers. After defeating it, your boat will sink, after appearing all your players except yourself are captured. You will be teleported to the village, try all possibilities of the first option again and then teleport to the fifth location on the second page. Try in this village all possibilities of the first option and leave. You are now in a dry area, somewhere there are some green trees, walk towards it and you are being teleported to a village where you can buy good weapons, after some talking go back to the trees and you will become a black pearl. Now teleport to the last location on the second page. Go with the boat to the middle of the screen and choose 'yes'. You are now going to the sunken castle. Somewhere is the eight end-boss are some hits he will split up in five enemies only one is the real one (the one who loses the most points) keep hiting him. After defeating this enemy, you become the fourth stone, and al your players are back. First restore MP+HP to the maximium then enter the stone with a hole in it. At first someone stood guard for this stone, now he is gone. You are now in forest with blue trees. You will find end-boss number nine and ten (= two cavemen). If beaten another gaps reveals itself. Go in and keep going up. You will find a fairy surrounded by enemies, first defeat the enemies and then bump into the fairy. Now walk down, and go searching for another stone with a hole in it. Enter it and come in a dry area. Find the dragon with four heads. When found you go of screen, return to it, and one of players die. Now search a tower and enter it. Search the tower until you find a room with a bunch of torches, and five flamethrowers. The one in the middle of the flamethrowers is red and doesn't work. Walk against it and answer with yes. Somewhere in the tower is now a door opened, behind it you will find the eleventh end-boss. After defeating it, return to the fairy to restore everything and search for a cave near the fairy. Enter and find the end-boss number twelve. Now find a women tied to a rock. Walk to her and she will the stones secret code. Now find a tombstone with to the left a blue tree. To the left from that tree is a rock, walk from the left against it and you will get something. Now go back to the place where you found end-boss number twelve, with the thing you just have become you can open the gate. When the gate opens walk to the end and bump into the man which stands there. You must put the stones in correct sequence in the holes. The sequence is : Grey - black - red - blue - brown - white and yellow. A stairs will appear together with a player. When walking down these stairs you return in a tower, here are three boss-monsters. When beaten find the last bossmonster in the tower. Attack him till goes through his knees. Then let Randar use first magic on the boss-monster and he is beaten.
