Note

The two disks are identical. You effectively get a backup copy.
Halnote Book manual page 5 features level 2 kanji glitches with Sony HB-F500 and Yamaha YIS-805 MSXs, and failure to quit to MSX-DOS when using Yamaha FD-05 floppy disk drive, and instructs the user to ask their manufacturers for upgrade.

Note

ver 0.4 prototype (?) that resembles ver 0.1 reviewed on MSX Magazine 1986-07 page 159. The disk runs without the rom which is likely not accessed. This version does not display any Japanese message.
The disk dump contains several software with French message. One of them LISTE.BAS lists European software in European ASCII character set, therefore is unlikely to have been developed by HAL Laboratory the Japanese company.
