Wataru - A great but underestimated game (15-09-2006 18:24)
In the vastness of space you have to destroy the alien battleships.
This is a watered down version of the arcade version. For e.g. where the arcade version had several sentences of speech, this version's speech is limited to "Blast off".
Nevertheless this version can stand on its own. The action is relentless and fast and the enemy never leaves you alone and gets quicker, faster and better armed each level you progress.
This game has always been underestimated, especially when it was compared with Galaga or Galaxians. On other platforms it got sequals, on the MSX no sequal was ever made.
