To start, this game was ported to the Nintendo FamiCom in Japan by Namco (under the "Namcot" name), and to the NES outside of Japan by Broderbund Software as "Legacy of the Wizard". Both Nintendo-conversions use different songs for different areas (including possibly one new song for Pochi's area), and a completely different title theme.
Also, with a little work and learning what English keys produce what Kana characters, you can actually translate passwords from LotW to DS4 sometimes. NOt guaranteed to work for every password.

To jump from a map point to another quicly, use the crown-item (shift+up arrow) on a fairy-icon. You get a crown killing a big-boss monster.
