Founded in 1982 as "Programmers-3", before changing their name to Compile. Compile developed a wealth of games for numerous publishers spanning many genres and formats. The company closed in 2002. Developer Aiky was founded by ex-Compile employees. For a while, Compile also ran an 18+ label called Momonoki House, with a disk magazine called Peach Up.
It also seems that "Nisso" and "Think Soft" merged or got bought by Compile.
