Comptiq is a Japanese computer game magazine, first published in 1983, by Kadokawa Shoten. The name "Comptiq" came from combining the words "computer" and "boutique". Originally a PC magazine, its focus shifted from computers to computer games. In 1984 and 1985, Comptiq also released ports of popular home computer games for the PC-88, PC-89 and MSX, including titles such as Boulder Dash, Bruce Lee and The Heist.
